When ZACH and 9-year-old ANA discover a magical hat with the power to teleport them to the past, they soon find themselves separated and facing off with Wild West outlaw MAD-HAT MILTON... who’d kill to get his hat back. Will they make it back to the future unscathed?
DESCRIPTION
I’m a sucker for nostalgia. Eighteen years ago, my brother and I grabbed our camera and dressed up as cowboys to try to outdo each other's John Wayne impressions, making a short with all the staples of a classic western: outlaws, sheriffs, shootouts at high noon.
It was a trip to get to make THE TIME TRAVELING SHERIFF, in a legit western town film set, with actual horses and extras and period wardrobe. 🤯 As an enormous fan of Back to the Future: Part III, my fifteen-year-old self would have FLIPPED.
Huge thanks to King Studio for bringing me on and trusting the vision! It was an incredibly gratifying collaboration. Very proud of what we were able to put together.
